STUDENT ASSISTANCE TRAINING  INTERNATIONAL provides in-depth training to schools and communities in the prevention and early intervention of high-risk behaviors. We offer state-of-the-art training in researched based national program models which are successfully impacting youth, their families, and communities in which they live.SATI is recognized by SAMHSA as a National Resource on SAP and "Best Practice" by the United Kingdom. For the past 29 years, SATI has trained schools in50 United States and 30 foreign countries.

PURPOSE OF THE WORKSHOP: This intensive 3-day workshop will teach participants how to implement a comprehensive Student Assistance Program (K-post secondary) in their school, district, or community.Major emphasis will be placed on group facilitator training and the prevention and early intervention of high-risk behaviors. Participants will be guided through eight experiential support groups.

WHO IS THIS WORK SHOP FOR?  Teachers, counselors, socialworkers, psychologists, administrators, board members, parents, nurses, classified staff, mental health and social service agencies, and other concerned community members. Participants may attend as an individual or as a member of a school community team.

REGISTRATION AND COST: $310 Registration - Early Bird Special $285 before May 6th. Payable by check, credit card or purchase order. Comprehensive training manual (440pgs) and certificate of completion for 27 classroom hours will be given to each participant.

GRADUATE CREDIT: Available--2 semester hours of enrichment credit is available from the University of Wyoming. Participants will register the day of the training and pay an additional tuition fee of $100 to the University of Wyoming.
