STUDENT ASSISTANCE PROGRAM
DEFINITION
A comprehensive primary prevention and early intervention program for students in primary and secondary schools and higher education. The program includes a systematic effort to educate, identify, assess, refer, and support students with substance misuse and other high-risk behaviors interfering with their education and life development.
